Podskee Wee Wee, Episode 96

On this week’s show, Mike tells us all about his fun at Grey Cup 105, including introducing us to the Super Cup. What’s the Super Cup? You’ll have to listen to find out. We also review the 105th Grey Cup and 53rd Vanier Cup, talk about June Jones’ possible return, potential free agents the Ticats need to re-sign and who we would like to see them bring in, more expansion talk, moving the schedule up, the possible new management structure in Montreal and the B.C. Lions somewhat surprising hiring of Ed Hervey as their new general manager.

As always, do not forget that you can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes, but now you can also get the show on Google Play and Stitcher. You can also listen to it or download it right here on 3DownNation.

  1. Keep up the good work and the enthusiasm Josh & Mike!

  2. Been a while since I posted questions. Sorry about that. So I actually have two questions that have weighed on my mind.

    1) The Tiger-Cats ground game was fantastic as the year went on, but if Alex Green gets dinged up, and he’s also closing on 30, it makes me wonder about Canadian depth there. Is Mercer Timmis really able to carry the load if required, or should the Tiger-Cats spend a high draft pick on Ed Ilnicki from Alberta (like you guys said in the podcast, they don’t seem to have many holes on the team and only 17 free agents, so why not take a flyer? I’m also not a Ross Scheuerman fan)?
    2) The CFL is making Johnny Manziel jump through hoops before allowing him to negotiate with the Tiger-Cats. While at first it seemed prudent, it makes me wonder if the league is going to make EVERY troubled player go through the same grind. And if they don’t make every player with a substance abuse problem or legal issues dance the Johnny Football dance from now on, wouldn’t that leave Manziel the option of some discrimination action against the league? (maybe a rhetorical question, but one worth asking)

You guys are doing a great job. Keep it up.
