Trent Richardson absent from Riders practice

Trent Richardson put up his first 100-yard rushing performance in the CFL, but he didn’t practice on Tuesday as the Riders prepare to host Edmonton in Week 20.

The 27-year-old ran for 127 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries to power the Riders to a win over Montreal in Week 19. Richardson has played in four CFL games and increased his yards-per-carry in each one, totalling 259 yards on 48 attempts.

Some of the ignorant posts on this article are just pathetic people with elementary minds.
My wish for this season West Final is for the Riders to be totally healthy so the Stamps can give them a beat-down in the West Final. They are likely going to get beat by Esks this weekend and will crossover to the east through the back door. In other words the riders are lucky to even be in the playoffs after all. They won’t beat the Argos though. One and done!

White horse, there are those that are ignorant and those that are just clueless. FYI if the Riders win we stay in the West and play the Bombers. Based on that I chalked the rest of your comments to foolish mistakes also. Healthy or not, you are in for a shock. Well I guess it won’t be a shock because we just handed you your asses a couple of weeks ago. Oh well you can always depend on home field advantage…………Oh wait again my bad because we kicked your ass in your house already.

  4. Wow White Horse. You are officially Halloween’s biggest donkey! You’re family and friends are ashamed of you. POS stumps lover. Enjoy your day off work buddy.

  6. Hey White Horse, how does it feel crying in bed every November when a team f*cks the Stamps in the a$$? Its sad you call yourself a fan but you’re just another typical white trash out of work southern Albertan. Such deadbeats lot of you.

  7. Greenland // October 31, 2017 at 2:27 pm //

I would think the last team the Stamps want to face is the Riders.

  8. Didn’t the Riders just beat down the Stumps? God that fan base is mentally challenged haha. Oh well that’s southern Alberta for you, never that smart. Go Argos!

  9. riderontheisland // October 31, 2017 at 2:33 pm //

TR said after the game that he would be alright so I’m assuming he is just giving a little rest. He is one power back on want on the field in the cold weather and playoffs. The best part is he is just getting in game shape now. Middle of the defense will earn their money facing this guy here on in.

Rider fans…my post was not ignorant nor directed at any particular fan or post. However, the ignorant responses by rider fans is so typical of that fan base. The riders will not defeat the RedBlacks or the Argos via the back door…PERIOD!

Donkey, I’ll say it again. If we beat the Esks we stay in the West. Why do I bother teaching the stupid!

      • White Horse // October 31, 2017 at 3:34 pm //

rideronisland…can you read? I said the riders were going to lose to the Esks and crossover! Comprende?

  11. Whitehorse, your stamps are becoming the team that wins in the regular season and shits in the playoffs.

    • So the Riders don’t make the playoffs, so they must be the constipated chickens that don’t give a sh*t about rider

  12. The 127yards is not as big a surprise as the 20 carries. Looks like the Rider coaches have finally figured out that there is something in football called running the ball.

    • Billinburlington // November 1, 2017 at 5:15 am //

And. It took a coaching change to figure that out for my Ticats. It was so frustrating to see the run game disappear and Collaros only pass, pass and pass. It didn’t take long for opponents to focus pressure on the QB. Collaros constantly felt pressure- eventually the OL grew tired and hello 0-8 start.

My point is that Trent Richardson adds a new dimension to the offence in Sask, can only help the Riders. TR probably resting for the playoffs.
