Argos RB James Wilder takes head hit, walks off field

Argonauts running back James Wilder Jr. took a head hit from Riders linebacker Henoc Muamba.

The rising star runner laid on the field motionless for few minutes, but eventually got up and walked off under his own power.

Wilder Jr. had his helmet taken away on the sideline and it appears he will not return to the game.

This is a little off topic but for some reason the Argo/SK game did not record on Telus (Vancouver Island) this afternoon. To make matters worse, I do not see a rebroadcast of the game. Any one else experience this?

I’m on satelight, I get all games even stuff I don’t want.

  3. Anybody else get sick of TSN and their frigging “guest appearances” while there is a football game going on ? I get some ex players etc and even those get out of hand at times – but those clowns on today trying to be funny was a little much.

Back to the headline….was good to see Wilder up and alert. Classy player and exciting to watch.

      Yeah, that was pretty cringe-worthy.

@ yup, 1000%, I pre record on PVR then watch an hour after the game starts, this way I can FF through all the crap, in this case it lasted for about 5 minutes during end of the 2nd quarter. I had to FF to the start of the 3rd quarter, because it wasn’t my team in it no problem. But it aggravated all the same. I wish they would stop that garbage. This in no way would in courage me to watch that show in fact I would never watch Jon Onrght or Onwrong whatever his name is!!!!

  5. Good game to watch. Nothing overly silly referee wise. Kept me on edge that’s for sure

  6. Bouka knocked him into Muamba. Hope he’s ok and will be back next week. He’s definitely a star on the rise.

  7. So why was that not a helmet to helmet hit?
