Podskee Wee Wee, Episode 87

On this week’s show, Mike and I discuss… another Ticats win? No really, we do. And we also touch on the slew of signings in Tigertown, the forthcoming return of one Andy Fantuz, a pair of CFLers returning north after tryouts in the NFL, CFL Week in Winnipeg and the size of CFL balls. Mike hands out his Bozo of the Week (while I give out an honourable mention), we preview Hamilton’s upcoming game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, give our CFL picks and answer two listener questions.

As always, do not forget that you can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes, but now you can also get the show on Google Play and Stitcher. You can also listen to it or download it right here on 3DownNation.

If you have any questions you want answered on the show or just have some comments in general that you want to share, feel free to hit Mike or myself up on Twitter or leave them in the comment section below.

Sit back and enjoy Episode 87 of Podskee Wee Wee, a proud member of the Canadian Football Podcast Network.

  1. Should Philip Lolley receive more credit for the defense turning it around? Seems like he used the bye week to install more of his playbook.

  2. The praise (and rightly so) of Richard Leonard’s play makes me wonder about how the secondary looks once everyone’s finally heathly. With Kanneh and Davis at Halfback and Leonard at one Corner, do you see Courtney Stephen staying at Safety, or moving back to Corner and Mike Daly playing Safety (Jay Langa as the Canadian back-up), giving two Canadians in the secondary? Stephen has always seemed a man out of position at Safety to me.

BTW, thanks for reading my question on the last podcast.

Should the Ticats take start Ryker Matthews or Lamar Holmes? Offensively line was not good against the Riders. However, I believe the three Canadians had worse games than either tackle.

Should the Ticats cut Demond Washington? Team did no worse without him. Has been one of the worst free agent signings that the team has made recently, and his spitting penalty directly lead to a score.

With the CFL season, approximately 2/3 of the way through, who are your updated award winners?
