Canadian offensive lineman Tyler Holmes has signed a two-year contract extension with the Argos, per sources.
The 28-year-old has become a mainstay on Toronto’s offensive line since being drafted in the first round, seventh overall by the double blue in 2011. After spending one year on the Minnesota Viking’s practice roster, Holmes inked a deal with the Argonauts.
Since 2014 the six-foot-four, 299-pounder has played in every single games Toronto has had on the schedule (54). Holmes has twice been named an East Division all-star at guard (2014 and 2016).
