Grey Cup champion defensive back inks pact with Eagles

Ottawa Redblacks defensive back Mitchell White has signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, per the player himself.

White, a 2016 East Division all-star, recorded 38 tackles and three interceptions in 14 games with Ottawa and started at corner in the Redblacks’ 2016 Grey Cup victory.

  1. Wow. It seems like more CFL players are making the jump to the NFL than in previous years. Does anyone have stats on this?

      Yes I agree. I do not recall this much movement in previous years. Have any cats signed south? We don’t have that much talent to lose anyway. Not even the cats seem interested in signing our potential FAs lol. Oh well, another season of not winning ahead.

The best chance to stick are for players scouted by NFL in game performance here and reviewed in college ranks then brought to main camp/ not done any more so injuries a risk/ less knowledge of the player and movement means little as futures are like a promissory note, to pay off at a another date based on making the big roster. Lots of game day rosters starts and presence on rosters from scouted by NFL men!
