BC Lions defensive back inks deal in New Orleans

BC Lions defensive back was granted an early release by the team to sign with the New Orleans Saints, per 3DownNation’s Lowell Ullrich.

The 28-year-old played in 11 games for BC in 2016 recording 35 tackles, two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and one forced fumble. He was a seventh round pick (222nd overall) in the 2011 NFL draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gaitor spent two seasons with the Bucs playing in 12 games, starting two, recording 12 tackles and five passes defended.
